Colts end season at State Championships

OXNARD – The 2025 season officially came to a close for two members of the Cañada College women's tennis team at the 3C2A State Championships.
The Colts' doubles team of Tara Jekat and Kathy Kau opened the tournament on Thursday with a 6-1, 6-0 opening-round win over the Rio Hondo College duo of Katlyn Dominguez and Jennifer Diaz. But Jekat and Kau's run ended with their 6-1, 6-0 second-round loss to Breanna Hiebert and Hannah Kraft of Bakersfield College later in the day.
Cañada College is proud of Tara and Kathy's accomplishments as well as the Colts' tennis team this season.
